Evening Shift Manager
This role is critical for maintaining efficient operations, upholding stringent food safety standards, and driving continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise evening production activities to achieve established targets and schedules.
* Monitor machinery performance and workforce efficiency while enforcing rigorous food safety protocols (e.g., HACCP).
* Lead and mentor team members, ensuring clear communication of goals and best practices.
* Conduct routine safety checks and coordinate with maintenance for prompt equipment repairs.
* Manage raw material usage and liaise with the supply chain team for timely inventory replenishment.
* Prepare comprehensive end-of-shift reports detailing production metrics and any challenges encountered.
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in food production or manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office.
* Flexibility to work day shifts as needed.
