HEAD CHEF
This is a sparkling opportunity for someone with the right focus and customer know-how to take the helm alongside one of Irelands most trailblazing hospitality teams. This role will take on responsibility for the culinary offering within The K Club Hotel, including our flagship restaurant - The Barton.

Here’s how you’ll bring the K Club’s trailblazing vision to life:
* Lead and manage the Hotel's culinary team
* Liaise with the Executive Chef regarding menu suggestions, operational issues and day-to-day operations of the Kitchen
* Responsibility for all food service from the Kitchen including public areas and Hotel function space
* Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints
* Ensure guests are always receiving an exceptional dining experience representing true value for money
* Aware of all financial budgets and goals
* Ensure recipes and product yields are accurately costed and reviewed regularly
* Ensure department overall operational budgets are strictly adhered to
* Ensure a consistent first-class product of the highest quality is achieved and maintained in all culinary areas whilst adhering to operational deadlines
* Ensure all relevant banquet set-ups are prepared ahead of guests arrival and in adherence with company standards
* Ensure all food products received into the Kitchen are of required standard and quality and that they are stored and rotated correctly
* Assist with monthly stock takes in the Kitchen
* Ensure kitchen operations manuals are prepared and updated
* Ensure rosters are entered and updated in Time and Attendance as required and payroll deadlines met
* Work in close conjunction with Food and Beverage Director and Executive Chef to create yearly marketing plan for the outlet
This is how we see you:
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
* Strong leadership skills with ability to work as a team
* Genuine passion for food
* Qualification in culinary arts or similar desired
* Extensive knowledge of good food handling, food standards, and presentation
* Competence in all aspects of kitchen budgeting including costing and menu planning, labour costing and waste management
* Experience in HACCP maintenance
