Beverage Manager Job Description
Key Responsibilities include ensuring guest satisfaction through exceptional service standards and developing innovative beverage offerings to enhance the guest experience. The Beverage Manager will lead and manage the Bar team, maintaining seamless hotel operations, and prepare and manage department budgets controlling costs, payroll margins, purchasing and stock.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Bar team, maintaining seamless hotel operations
* Prepare and manage department budgets, controlling costs, payroll margins, purchasing and stock
* Monitor hygiene standards, implement standard operating procedures for all Bar areas
* Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs and implement development programs
* Drive sales through upselling initiatives, marketing campaigns and new revenue opportunities
* Maintain high standards of cash handling, billing accuracy and operational efficiency
* Develop strategic plans aligned with the hotel's long-term business goals
* Compile and present weekly and monthly reports to the General Manager
* Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction and resolution
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in a Bar Management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment. You will require strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills, a passion for service excellence and innovation in guest experiences, strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost control, a proactive approach to team development, problem-solving and continuous improvement, and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings as required.
