DevOps Lead – POS, Terminal Management & Configuration Systems
Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite

We're seeking a
hands-on DevOps Lead
to own CI/CD, automation, and operational delivery for
backend systems supporting POS, Terminal Management (TMS) and Terminal Configuration (TCS)
in a regulated payments environment.
This is a delivery-focused contract role, working closely with platform, security, and domain teams to build secure, scalable, and auditable deployment pipelines for terminal ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead DevOps delivery for POS, TMS and TCS platforms
* Build and operate
CI/CD pipelines
(GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
* Integrate
security tooling
(Fortify SAST, SCA, DAST) with enforced quality gates
* Implement
Infrastructure as Code
(Terraform) and container platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
* Manage secrets, keys, and HSM integrations in line with PCI controls
* Orchestrate releases (blue/green, canary, phased rollouts) across terminal fleets
* Drive observability, incident response, and post-incident reviews
* Coordinate across engineering, platform, QA, security, and operations teams
Key Experience
* Strong hands-on DevOps / Platform background in
enterprise environments
* Payments, fintech, or
POS/terminal ecosystem
experience highly desirable
* CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, and artefact repositories (Nexus/Artifactory)
* Security-by-design DevOps (Fortify, compliance gates, audit readiness)
* Backend tech exposure: Java/Kotlin, microservices, APIs, messaging
* Excellent stakeholder communication and delivery reporting
