Warehouse Shift Supervisor We are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Shift Supervisor to join one of our clients, based in Galway City.
The warehouse operates with an already well-established system and were looking for someone who can ensure its continued smooth running and bring strong leadership to the night shift.
Location:Galway City Shift: Night Shift (10pm6am), 5-day roster between Monday and Saturday (no Sundays) Salary:€40,000 Benefits:20 days annual leave, pension after 2 years Reporting to: Depot Manager Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support a team of 5 warehouse operatives on the night shift.
Oversee stock check-ins and ensure accuracy of all incoming goods.
Ensure orders are picked, packed and prepared correctly for shipment.
Complete and close off daily warehouse reports.
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
Address any issues promptly to keep operations running seamlessly.
Collaborate effectively with the Depot Manager and other teams.
Experience: 23+ years experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role is required, within the food industry is advantageous.
Strong awareness of warehouse processes.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive team atmosphere.
Comfortable working on a night shift schedule.
Reliable, proactive and committed to maintaining high standards.
