The Morgan Fuel Card and associated services help businesses control costs, improve visibility, and simplify fuel management.Role OverviewBased in Cork, the Outbound Sales Team Lead will lead a high-performance outbound sales team focused exclusively on new business acquisition. The role is responsible for driving new Morgan Fuel Card sign-ups across the southern region through proactive outbound sales activity.This is a hunter-led leadership role, combining hands-on selling with team management, and setting the benchmark for activity, conversion, and new customer growth.Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Sales LeadershipLead, coach, and motivate an outbound sales team dedicated to new business acquisitionCreate a high-energy outbound sales culture with clear activity and conversion targetsSet and manage daily, weekly, and monthly new business KPIsMonitor individual and team performance including call volumes, conversion rates, and fuel card activationsLead from the front with personal outbound selling and deal closingMorgan Fuel Card – New Customer AcquisitionWin new Morgan Fuel Card customers across SMEs and fleet operatorsEffectively communicate the value of the Morgan Fuel Card, including:Cost control and transparent pricingCentralised billing and simplified invoicingFuel usage monitoring and reportingFleet and driver controlsEnsure strong onboarding to drive early activation and usageAdditional Services (New Business Focused)Introduce relevant Morgan Fuels services as part of the initial salePosition value-added services to increase initial customer valueMaintain a consultative, solution-led sales approach during first engagementTerritory & Pipeline ManagementBuild and manage a robust new business pipeline across counties south of Dublin and GalwayIdentify target sectors and geographic opportunities within the southern regionMaintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and pipeline stagesProvide reliable forecasts based on pipeline activityQuality, Compliance & ReportingEnsure outbound sales activity complies with GDPR and company policiesMaintain high call quality and professional standardsProduce regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations for senior managementShare competitor intelligence and market feedbackSkills & ExperienceEssentialProven outbound B2B new business sales experiencePrevious experience leading or supervising a sales teamStrong hunter mentality with a track record of closing new businessExperience in high-volume outbound sales environmentsExcellent negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skillsConfident user of CRM systems and sales reporting toolsDesirableExperience selling fuel cards, fleet solutions, utilities, or subscription-based servicesExperience using Salesforce CRMKnowledge of the Munster and southern Irish commercial landscapeExperience building or scaling new business sales teamsPersonal AttributesHighly driven, competitive, and results-focusedLeads by example with strong outbound activityResilient and persistent with a positive mindsetStrong coach with the ability to elevate team performanceCommercially astute and data-drivenWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary with uncapped commission and team incentivesOpportunity to lead new business growth for the Morgan Fuel Card in the southern regionClear career progression within a growing Irish energy businessOngoing sales and leadership developmentPension and company benefitsJob Type: Full-timePay: €40,000.00-€40,001.00 per yearBenefits:Additional leaveCompany pensionGym membershipPrivate medical insuranceWork Location: In person
