Avoca Online order processing - Temporary/Seasonal
Description
An opportunity has arisen for a position within an existing team in our Online Department. The role will be in order processing, which will work alongside order dispatch/order packaging. This is a temporary/Seasonal position 5 over 7 days, offering additional support over a busy Christmas period.
(November to January 2nd 2025)
Responsibilities
* Printing and compiling online orders for dispatch.
* Processing orders for payment, through use of our EPOS system.
* Controlling and monitoring of packaging stock levels where applicable.
* Working with a small online order dispatch team
* Checking off all orders to our Company high standards.
* Working with our stock control team when needed
* Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work area
* Basic admin including the checking of orders/stock & shipping information.
* Product labelling and inspection of final product before shipping as per company standard.
Requirements
* Knowledge of EPOS and stock receipting is desirable.
* This person must have a basic understanding of how a dispatch system operates and basic competency in IT Systems.
* Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca's high standard of service.
* Must be a team player.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in Avoca Central Stores, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow
