Overview
eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Vulnerability Management Specialist. This is a day rate contractor position located with our client in Dublin city centre. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite per week.
Responsibilities:
1. Working closely with various IT teams in a hybrid work environment.
2. Monitor the cyber support mailbox and bring items to closure on a day to day basis.
3. Support various business functions on reviewing and sign off of new software applications.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
5. Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments using Qualys.
6. Support pen test remediation activity.
7. Run PAM and UAM audits monthly.
8. Support the running of phishing campaigns.
9. Monitoring and report on patching remediation.
10. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments.
11. Participate in security-related projects such as system upgrades and the implementation of new technologies.
12. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring swift resolution and documentation.
13. Assist in the development and execution of security policies and procedures.
14. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
15. 5+ years of experience in IT security and working as a cyber security analyst.
16. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO, NIST, and CIS.
17. Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security protocols.
18. Strong experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys.
19. Knowledge of cloud security in environments like AWS, Azure.
20. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are desirable.
