€80,000 to €105,000 plus bonus and benefits
The opportunity
Signatus are partnering with a leading Irish law firm to hire an EU Competition and Procurement Lawyer into its expanding Dublin practice. This is a high visibility role within a market leading team advising on EU competition law, Irish merger control and public procurement.
You will work on complex, often cross border mandates for multinational corporates and state entities, building your profile as a competition and procurement specialist in one of the most active regulatory markets in Europe.
What you will do:
Advise on Irish and EU merger control filings from strategy through to clearance
Support and lead on cartel, abuse of dominance and regulatory investigations
Deliver advice on State aid, FDI screening and evolving EU regulatory frameworks
Act on public procurement challenges and related EU and Irish litigation
Collaborate with corporate, M&A and disputes teams to deliver seamless client solutions
Within 6 to 12 months, independently manage key workstreams and become a trusted associate within the team
What must have's are we looking for?
Qualified solicitor in Ireland or UK with 1 to 4 years PQE (foreign qualified lawyers who are not on the Irish or UK rolls cannot be considered)
Experience in EU competition law, Irish competition law or public procurement
Exposure to merger control, investigations or contentious regulatory matters
Strong academic background
Commercial mindset and clear written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative approach and ambition to build a specialist regulatory career
Helpful but not essential
Experience with FDI screening, telecoms regulation or EU regulatory litigation
Involvement in Competition and Consumer Protection Commission matters
