Monaghan Ref:S11977 RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have an opportunity for a CNC Brake Press Operative to join their successful business. Day shift only Monday to Friday. Due to location you will need to have your own transport. Requirements: Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydraulic press including basic set-up ability to read Mechanical Engineering Drawings. Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively to produce quality parts. Demonstrate a full understanding of drawings and part orientation and how they relate to the finished part. Demonstrate the ability to self-inspect finished work, ensuring that it is correct and to an acceptable standard for the next step in the manufacturing process. Demonstrate and apply understanding of flat pattern layout. Demonstrate the ability to program new parts or modify existing programs to support the manufacturing process. Ability to identity health and safety risks and report to area supervisor. Ability to keep work area and produced parts in a tidy organised manor to assist in a smooth flow of processes through the factory area. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Work independently and as part of a team to produce folded sheet metal parts to the correct specifications. Set up and operate machines correctly. Review engineering drawings. Quality inspection and review of parts. Maintain cleanliness of area and at all times operate to H&S and company regulations, policies and procedures.
