Your Impact
We are looking for a talented QHSE Officer to join our team. In this role, you will:
* Champion health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the business
* Ensure compliance with ISO standards and relevant legislation
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives across QHSE management systems
* Promote a safety-first culture and maintain regulatory readiness
What You’ll Do
In addition to the above, you’ll focus on the following:
* Develop, implement, and improve QHSE systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
* Develop, implement, and improve QHSE systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
* Conduct QHSE audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
* Maintain KPIs and generate monthly performance reports
* Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and communication campaigns
* Manage RAMS documentation, particularly for high-risk environments such as ATEX zones and pharmaceutical facilities
* Oversee PPE and workwear compliance, ensuring suitability and safety
* Track training certifications and coordinate refresher courses (Safe Pass, First Aid, MEWP, etc.)
* Support PSA audits and ensure documentation meets compliance standards
* Conduct daily site walk-throughs to ensure a safe working environment
* Participate in cross-functional project planning and implementation as required
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* 3–5 years of experience in QHSE or EHS roles, ideally in high-risk or industrial environments.
* Level 8 qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
* Internal Auditor certification (ISO 9001 and ISO 45001) desirable.
* Strong knowledge of Irish and EU safety legislation, PSA regulations, and ATEX compliance.
* Proficiency in digital document management systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
