LPN/RN Core Responsibilities
Consult with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Prepare and administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IV) and document; report adverse reactions per policy
Record patient medical information and vital signs
Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret electronic displays
Initiate corrective action for adverse patient symptoms
Provide bedside care for a variety of medical patients
Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs
Assist physicians during examinations and treatments
Respond to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol
Participate in discharge planning
Utilize time management skills
Document care concisely and accurately
Perform other position-related duties as assigned
LPN/RN Requirements
Current LPN/RN license in the state
At least one year of LPN/RN experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred
Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred
