Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
TTM Healthcare, in partnership with a leading healthcare provider of residential care in Ireland, is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at one of their clients' small 37 Bedded Residential Care Homes based in Dublin City.
Position Overview
The post of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is a senior clinical position that reports to the Director of Nursing. The role will provide clinical leadership, manage day-to-day clinical practices in the care centre, and oversee staff rostering, delegation, supervision, performance and development, clinical governance, and risk assessment.
Management and Communication
The ADON will work collaboratively with the DON and Healthcare Manager as part of the senior management team in the care centre, providing clear communication and direction and deputising for the DON as required.
The ADON role is responsible for ensuring that the care delivered is consistently of high quality, and that those delivering direct care to residents are appropriately skilled, competent, caring, and conscientious.
Daily Activities
Responsibilities include:
* Checking staff rosters and obtaining cover for absences
* Attending handovers and reviewing progress of residents
* Implementing Company Health and Safety Policy to safeguard the safety and welfare of staff, residents, and others

Qualifications
Requirements include:
* First-level registration
* Registration on the appropriate part of the Irish live register
* Evidence of continuous Professional Development
* Previous management experience
