Were looking for aSales & Events Coordinatorwhos passionate about people, brimming with ideas, and ready to help us put MJ Wrights on the map as one of Dublins go-to spots for memorable events The Role Youll be the driving force behind selling and developing our function room business. From building relationships with tour operators, local businesses and event organisers, to representing us at networking events and industry gatherings, youll be our face in the community. This is a role for someone who loves Dublins buzz, thrives on meeting new people, and can turn a casual chat into a confirmed booking. Key Responsibilities Sell and develop our function rooms for private and corporate events, ensuring we meet revenue targets. Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organisations, and key partners. Represent MJ Wright at industry and networking events (e.g. Dublin Chamber of Commerce, Filte Ireland events). Work closely with our management, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure events run smoothly from enquiry to execution. Create and deliver engaging proposals tailored to client needs. Keep an eye on market trends and competitor activity to spot new opportunities. Maintain accurate records of enquiries, leads, and bookings. Help develop promotional materials and campaigns for our events offering. Cross promote where applicable across The Wright Group. For example, The Bloody Stream, Wrights Findlater Howth and Wrights Anglers Rest What Were Looking For Experience in sales, events, or hospitality (ideally all three!). A natural networker confident starting conversations and building rapport. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Self-motivated with a proactive approach. Flexible schedule some evening and weekend work will be part of the job to ensure client events run smoothly.
