Electrical Design Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering technical electrical design support for new Process Area CAPEX projects and providing assistance with small on-site projects. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining Low Voltage (LV) and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, overseeing small projects related to electrical systems infrastructure, and preparing and maintaining electrical drawings and associated documentation.
Key Responsibilities
 1. Design and maintenance of LV systems, encompassing Lighting, General Services, UPS, Protection Settings including Arc Flash.
 2. Manage small projects related to electrical systems infrastructure, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
 3. Assist in the design review, site acceptance, and installation of electrical equipment, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements.
 4. Prepare and maintain detailed electrical drawings and related documentation, facilitating effective project execution.
 5. Design and specify cGMP E&I equipment and process controls, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
 6. Manage electrical systems residing on the business IT network, protecting against potential cyber threats.
 7. Support the validation department by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution, promoting efficient testing and verification processes.
 8. Investigate equipment and control system anomalies, including power quality events, to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
 9. Prepare engineering evaluations for modification change control documentation, ensuring accurate representation of project scope and objectives.
 10. Supervise electrical contractors, verifying that works meet required standards and specifications.
 11. Develop risk assessments, method statements, and other health and safety-related documentation, fostering a culture of workplace safety.
 12. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations, upholding company values and reputation.
