Quantity Surveyor – Leading M&E Contractor | London | Permanent
Do you want to join a well-established mechanical, electrical and HVAC engineering and construction company with major project experience across a wide range of sectors throughout Europe. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their London team on a permanent basis, working across a portfolio of high-value commercial and industrial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor known for delivering technically complex M&E projects — typically valued around £10 million+ — while building your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As a key member of the commercial team, you’ll take ownership of your project scope and ensure all works are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standard. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Preparing detailed bills of quantities, valuations, and cost plans
* Managing subcontractor procurement, contracts, and payments
* Tracking project progress, costs, and labour productivity
* Assisting senior commercial leads with reporting and forecasting
* Collaborating with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes
* Present take offs in a clear and coherent format while also understanding NRM2 requirements and procedures
* Providing timely and accurate CCS submissions each month
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within M&E, building services, or construction projects
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
