A growing Dublin-based property advisory and development-focused business is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller / Head of Finance to support its next phase of growth.
The company operates across residential development, leasing, and property management, working closely with developers and investors on multi-unit schemes. This is a key hire as the business looks to strengthen and professionalise its finance function, bringing greater ownership, structure, and consistency to reporting and processes.
While the role has strong long-term potential to evolve into a broader strategic finance position, the initial focus will be on hands‑on management of the finance function, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and effective team oversight.
Role Responsibilities
Take ownership of the day‑to‑day finance function, including oversight of reporting, invoicing, and month‑end processes
Ensure all financial reporting is accurate, consistent, and delivered within required timelines
Manage and develop the existing finance team, driving accountability and performance
Review and improve existing reporting processes, controls, and outputs
Oversee billing, cashflow tracking, and working capital management
Liaise with external stakeholders including accountants, auditors, and advisors
Support the ongoing improvement of systems, processes, and reporting tools
Work with senior leadership to provide reliable financial information to support decision‑making
The Person
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar hands‑on finance leadership role
Strong track record in managing finance teams and improving reporting processes
Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy, deadlines, and control
Hands‑on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a growing, evolving business
Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with non‑finance stakeholders
Property or real estate experience is key for this role
