Job Title:
Parcel Packer
Contract Type:
Part time, fixed-term employment until 19 December **** to support increased seasonal demand in the run-up to Christmas.
Hours:
Approximately 9:30am – 1pm, Monday – Friday
Pay:
€14 -€15 per hour.
Function:
To ensure timely and accurate packing of parcels and hampers for online orders, marketing samples, and other dispatch requirements, maintaining Ballymaloe Foods' high standards of quality and presentation.
The Candidate:
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and reliable during peak seasonal periods
Duties & Responsibilities:
Pick and pack parcels for Shopify orders, marketing campaigns, and charity hampers
Build hampers and prepare parcels to specification
Print labels and ensure correct documentation for domestic and international shipments
Maintain cleanliness and quality standards (e.g., correct shelf life, no lid popping)
Record tracking codes and update relevant trackers
Add compliment slips and prepare custom/commercial invoices where required
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience in packing, warehouse operations, or hamper assembly desirable
IT skills for label printing and order processing
Additional Requirements:
Ability to lift and handle parcels safely
Full, clean drivers licence desirable
