Recruitment and L&D Administrator at Mason Technology
Mason Technology is a wholly owned Irish company established in 1780, the principal activities are the distribution and supply of laboratory and analytical instruments.
The Role
Mason Technology is seeking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to work on our Calibration Team on a full-time permanent contract. The position is Limerick based with a requirement to travel countrywide when necessary.
The successful candidate must have strong technical knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and excellent communication skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing and calibration of electro-mechanical instrumentation products and modules in a laboratory or manufacturing setting in order to maintain functionality and accuracy including but not limited to:
* PM, Calibration and certification to ISO17025 or ISO9001 of a range of Temperature Control Units including but not limited to :
* Incubators
* Warehouses / Cold-rooms
* PM, Calibration and certification to ISO17025 or ISO9001 of temperature probes including but not limited to: PT100, PT1000, T Type, K Type, Thermistors.
* PM, Calibration and certification to ISO17025 or ISO9001 of a wide range of Weighing Equipment including but not limited to: Analytical / Semi Micro Balances, Ultra-Micro / Micro Balances, Top Pan Balances, Pit Scales.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
* A recognised course completed in electrical/instrumentation/mechanical engineering.
* Previous experience in a similar technical role is essential.
* Experience of working within Quality systems such as ISO, INAB, etc.
* Experience of working within Regulatory systems such as FDA, EUP, UKP, IMB, etc.
* Ability to fault find and repair laboratory equipment.
* A good knowledge of related industry products and tools.
* Full clean driving licence is essential.
