Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kilkenny for a
Production Manager / Supervisor
at Image Showers.
The successful candidate will oversee daily manufacturing activity across the production floor, ensuring the smooth assembly of shower enclosures, wetroom screens and bespoke orders. Key responsibilities include managing production schedules, maintaining quality control standards, supervising staff, and driving consistency and efficiency throughout the factory.
You will work closely with procurement, dispatch, and design departments to ensure material availability, on-time delivery, and adherence to health & safety requirements. A continuous-improvement mindset is essential, with the ability to identify and implement practical efficiencies across workflow and production processes. As a company powered by renewable solar energy, this role also supports our sustainability-led approach to manufacturing.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in production or manufacturing management, including planning, workflow coordination and meeting output targets
* Strong understanding of quality assurance and inspection processes, ideally within an engineered or assembly-based environment
* Confident leader with the ability to supervise, motivate and develop a production team - clear communication and problem-solving are essential
* Knowledge of health & safety standards and an ability to enforce safe working practices on the factory floor
* Experience with ERP/production planning systems or willingness to upskill in operational software
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and ensure orders are delivered on schedule
* Awareness of sustainable manufacturing practices - experience with efficiency improvement, waste reduction or energy-conscious manufacturing an advantage
* Qualification in engineering, manufacturing, industrial management or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory
