We are seeking a Level 1 Application Support Engineer for a 12 month contract with a top company in Cavan.
Job Description
As a first level application support analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support for enterprise-level application systems.
Responsibilities:
This graduate opportunity will include rotation of tasks allowing for experience to be developed within business analysis, ERP support, and project admin.
Manage incoming requests and incidents from the business via the team's ticketing system.
* Troubleshooting, analysing, identifying the root cause of user/application issues raised.
* Resolve issue where possible, escalating where appropriate.
* Manage and assign permissions and access for a range of software.
* Develop a deep understanding of Application & ERP functionality and configuration.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation supporting processes, systems, and solutions.
Education and Experience:
This is an entry level position. Full training will be provided; however, we seek candidate applications with the following aptitudes:
* Recent graduate with a relevant IT qualification
* Excellent interpersonal skills, interacting appropriately with technical & business resources. Service-oriented with a professional demeanour.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deliverables and deadlines.
* Familiarity with modern IT environments, applications, and infrastructure.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and possess strong PC user skills.
* Experience of Microsoft services such as Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI, Power Platform or Office365 would be an advantage.
* Solid technical background with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
