About Us

At Trifecta Ireland, we believe Ireland can lead the transformation to a clean, secure, and affordable energy future.

Lesley O'Connor is the Founder and Executive Chair of Trifecta Energy CLG, a non-profit established in 2025 to reshape how the world thinks about the energy transformation. Through its two divisions - Trifecta Ireland and SupergridEurope - the organisation advances a systems-thinking approach, uniting stakeholders to drive a clean, secure, and affordable energy future for all.

Conall Bolger CEO has two decades of development, markets and policy experience across the renewable energy value chain. A systems thinker, he has been involved in multiple scales of project, from community and customer site projects to larger scale onshore and offshore wind development.

Trifecta Ireland is an independent, non-profit initiative working to accelerate Ireland's transition to a clean, secure, and affordable energy future.

We provide bold, evidence-informed leadership to address systemic failures in the energy sector. Grounded in global systems change theory, Trifecta identifies what enables successful large-scale transformations and applies these principles to Ireland's unique energy context.

Our niche is connecting global insight with local action. We bring together stakeholders across government, industry, science, and civil society to co-design and drive integrated, system-wide solutions. By fostering collaboration and aligning incentives, we aim to unlock opportunities and remove barriers to Ireland's energy transformation.
