IT Support Specialist
The role of IT Support Specialist is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their IT career. You will be working in a dynamic team, supporting a busy operational environment.
* This position requires strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office.
* You will be responsible for providing on-site and remote 1st & 2nd line support, managing IT assets, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
* Maintaining compliance with IT security and company policies is crucial for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting approximately 150 users via helpdesk and face-to-face assistance.
* Managing IT assets, onboarding/offboarding, and device setup.
* Troubleshooting hardware/software issues (Windows, Office, VOIP, warehouse devices).
* Assisting with deployments, upgrades, and IT projects.
Requirements
* A strong interest in IT with good problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office.
* Experience with hardware troubleshooting and support desk systems.
* IT certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL) desirable.
* Exposure to Windows Server, VOIP, and warehouse devices an advantage.
* Strong communication skills with ability to train non-IT users.
* Own transport and full driving licence required.
