Role Purpose

This role is for the administration, reconciliation of client premium payments, Direct Debit and Instalment payment processing and Insurance Company payments. The role will be a hybrid role of working in the office and from home.

Accountabilities of the Role

Daily reconciliation incoming premium payments:

* Daily reconciliation of credit card & direct debit receipts

* Daily lodgement of cheques and direct debit mandates

* Issuing monthly statement of account letters to clients

* Contacting and dealing with client queries

Refunds to clients:

* Assist in the preparation and issue of all refunds due to our clients and ensuring all are issued within CPC rules.

* Monthly reconciliation of the client out of date cheques.

* Contacting and dealing with client queries

Direct Debit Processing:

* Submitting Direct Debit files to the Bank

* Reconciling and processing DD receipts and unpaid DD’s.

* Contacting clients and dealing with client queries

* Issue direct debit confirmation and amendment letters to clients.

* Ensure all direct debit amendments are completed on time.

* Ensure all direct debits are collected correctly and in accordance to client’s mandate

Insurance Scheme payments:

* Preparation of insurance company payments for premiums collected for General Insurance policies.

* Dealing with queries from underwriters on premium payments

* Preparation of monthly KPI report

* Liaising with 3rd parties in relation to premium processing and premium reconciliations.

Skills & Knowledge Required

* Previous General Insurance experience, Direct Debit processing & Payment handling skills are advantageous

* Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with queries for their General and Life insurance policy premiums.

* Fluency in spoken & written English language & excellent communication skills

* Ability to manage team inboxes ensuring all requests are processed and responses are issued efficiently.

* Ability to use MS Office products, in particular an excellent knowledge of Excel

* Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
