We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled labourer with a strong background in construction. The ideal candidate must be self-sufficient, able to take instructions and execute tasks proficiently with minimal supervision. This role requires a proactive individual with a understanding of various aspects of construction, including basic carpentary and concrete finishing, while upholding the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out all aspects of work in the yard including pouring and stacking concrete products, cleaning and prepping moulds etc.
2. Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
4. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
5. Ensure proper and safe use of hand tools, power tools, and factory machinery.
6. Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and clients when necessary.
7. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Requirements
8. Experience in construction.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
10. Ability to work independently and use initiative to complete tasks to a high standard.
11. Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
12. Strong work ethic, reliability, and good timekeeping.
13. Must be flexiblesome overtime or night shifts may be required.
14. Physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
15. Excellent English communication skills.
