**Job Title:** Ruminant Business Manager
We are seeking an experienced and driven professional to lead and grow our commercial presence in the Munster region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal nutrition, ruminant health, and/or agri-sales, and will be responsible for driving growth, managing key accounts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Regional Sales Management: Lead the commercial strategy and execution of sales plans for the Munster region, focusing on ruminant feed, nutrition solutions.
* Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop regional marketing initiatives, and expand the customer base across co-ops, merchants, and agribusiness.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regional challenges; provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
* Budgeting & Reporting: Develop regional budgets, sales forecasts, and contribute to strategic planning and monthly reporting processes.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* A degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agri-Business, or related discipline.
* Minimum 7 years in a commercial agri role, with demonstrable experience in ruminant sales or animal nutrition.
* A strong understanding of the Irish dairy and beef sectors, farm systems, and feed/nutrition practices.
* Strong commercial acumen with proven sales and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into practical solutions.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
