A well known Irish owned organisation with several entities is looking to hire a Group Financial Accountant in Sandyford (typically 3-4 days office based).
This role would suit someone who has a few years PQE and capable of a role which involves all aspects of management accounting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.
Salary for this role is circa €70,000 DOE.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records for each nursing home within the group.
Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and consolidated group
Support external audit processes and prepare statutory accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure timely filing of VAT and regulatory returns.
Review of monthly Payment Runs.
Strong understanding of Fixed Assets, AP and AR.
Preparation and Review of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop annual budgets in collaboration with operational managers.
Monitor expenditure and revenue against budgets, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
Payroll Oversight
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and analysis against budget.
Business Support
Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
Liaise with operations managers and care home managers to ensure financial awareness and accountability at site level.
Offer support to key projects.
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, cashflow and financial controls.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or sector-specific systems).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
