Role: Electrical Site Manager
Location: Ballincollig Regional Office covering projects throughout Southwest Ireland
Salary: Competitive
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Level 7 Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in the Water & Wastewater sector.
* Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork, problem resolution and presentation skills.
Skills:
* Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Trimble Design and Autodesk products desirable.
* Full Clean driving license.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure HSE & Sustainability standards, policies, and procedures are always adhered to on-site.
* Work with electrical design engineers on design reviews, including M&I Listings, cable sizing, control panel schematics, MIC load calculations, generator sizing, MV design review, etc.
* Manage delivery of electrical and installation scope on projects, including design, procurement, supervision, commissioning, and handover.
* Procure packages such as control panels, automation hardware/software, starters, electrical installation works, MV works, and lightning protection.
* Ensure project quality through testing, inspections, and commissioning in line with quality plans and employer’s requirements.
* Prepare Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Permits, and other H&S documentation.
* Prepare scope documents and tender packages.
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site staff, and design teams involved in the project.
