We are working with a leading organisation in Dublin who are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join one of their specialist business units.
This is a senior-level opportunity with high visibility, reporting directly to the Business Unit Managing Director (a board member and shareholder), while also working closely with the wider HR leadership team.
Location: Dublin West (Hybrid) + some EU travel
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you'll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping and delivering the people strategy while also supporting the full employee life cycle.
This is a strategic and hands‑on position, offering the chance to influence at board level and drive initiatives that support performance, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the BU leadership team to deliver a forward‑thinking people strategy
Lead workforce and resource planning to ensure future capability needs
Provide coaching and support to managers on performance and probation management
Oversee employee engagement and retention initiatives
Lead and advise on employee relations matters, including investigations and hearings
Drive succession planning and talent development initiatives
Present HR updates, metrics, and insights at board level
Manage the annual pay review process
Oversee day‑to‑day HR support and continuous improvement of HR practices
Monthly travel (international) is required
What We're Looking For
A proven HR professional with experience at Business Partner level
Strong background in both strategic HR and operational delivery
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior level
A relevant third‑level qualification in HR, Business, or a related field (CIPD membership an advantage but not essential)
