Principal Product Development Engineer
About The Role
At Analog Devices, you will be a strategic technical leader driving innovation and technical excellence across our product engineering organization. You will serve as a technical authority for complex engineering challenges, lead breakthrough design methodologies, and collaborate with senior leadership to shape product strategy. Your expertise and vision will influence our future semiconductor technology roadmap and organizational direction.
Key Responsibilities

Drive strategic technical direction for product development
Lead innovation in design methodologies and testing approaches
Serve as a technical authority for complex engineering challenges
Mentor teams and influence organizational direction
Collaborate with senior leadership on product strategy

Must Have Skills

Product Reliability: Industry‑recognized expertise in reliability engineering with thought leadership publications
Electronic Design: Distinguished mastery of electronic design principles with strategic organizational impact
Mechanical/Optical Systems: Strategic leadership in complex systems engineering across multiple domains
Digital Signal Processing: Pioneering contributions to DSP implementation with industry‑wide recognition
Production Optimization: Thought leadership in production optimization methodologies that define industry standards
Integrated Circuits: Distinguished expertise in IC architecture with contributions to next‑generation technologies
Qualification Testing: Strategic influence on qualification standards that shape organizational and industry practices

Preferred Education and Experience

Master’s or PhD preferred in Electrical Engineering or related field
12+ years of experience with demonstrated technical leadership
Industry recognition in technical domain
Strategic influence on organizational direction
