Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cashel. Duties to include:Perform routine inspections of the hotel premises, identifying and addressing maintenance issues promptlyCarry out repairs and maintenance tasks across various areas, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVACRespond efficiently to guest maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environmentManage inventory of maintenance supplies and toolsCollaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption to hotel operationsMaintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
QualificationsProven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a hotel or hospitality settingProficiency in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC systemsStrong knowledge of safety protocols relevant to hotel maintenanceAbility to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyBasic computer skills for using maintenance management systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong organisational abilities and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays
