My client is looking for a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to support high‑volume manufacturing cells at their Swords facility. This role suits someone with a strong mechanical/manufacturing background who enjoys being on the shop floor and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
Supporting and improving existing manufacturing processes
Defining and validating processes for new or upgraded products
Supporting assembly jigs, fixtures, and test equipment
Process analysis, quality reporting, and problem solving
Working closely with production teams and design engineers to ensure products are designed for assembly
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mid to high‑volume manufacturing environment
Hands‑on mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
Team‑focused with a proactive, can‑do attitude
Lean / Six Sigma tools
Data analysis (Excel, Power BI, SQL, VBA)
Industry 4.0 or real‑time manufacturing data
Fixture design and technical drawings (GD&T)
