Hotel Operations Manager Position
A dynamic 4-star hotel in North County Dublin seeks a seasoned Hotel Operations Manager to join their senior management team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a busy hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the smooth running of the hotel, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
* Lead by example and maintain a hands-on approach in all areas where support is required.
* Work closely with food & beverage teams to ensure exceptional service standards.
* Conduct regular audits and assist with inventory control.
* Support staff training and development programmes.
* Promote sales initiatives in conjunction with the in-house sales team.
* Maintain consistently high levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within busy 3* or 4* hotels.
* Strong knowledge of the hospitality sector, including current trends and innovations.
* HACCP trained.
* Previous experience in food & beverage, conference, banqueting, and events operations.
* Familiarity with hotel front office systems (advantageous).
* First Aid certification desirable but not essential.
* Excellent people management and communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexible to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
