Fota Island Resort are currently recruiting for an Assistant Spa to join our dedicated and professional team in the Spa.
As Assistant Spa Manager, you will support the Spa Manager in the daily operations of the spa, ensuring an outstanding guest experience, leading a team of skilled therapists, receptionists and Spa Attendants and helping to maintain our high standards of service and professionalism.

Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management and day-to-day operation of the Spa, including rostering, team supervision, and stock control.
* Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service to guests.
* Support the implementation of structured, professional training programs, development and motivation of the Spa team
* Assist with conducting staff performance appraisals
* Assist with creating SOPs and ensuring they are kept up to date and accessible to the team at all times .
* Manage weekly schedules, attendance records, sick leave, and holiday requests
* Handle guest feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
* Monitor spa facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and ambiance are always maintained.
* Assist in developing promotions, packages, and revenue-generating initiatives.
* Provide Spa Treatments as required.
* Cover Spa Reception shifts as required.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Spa Manager
What we are looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar position at senior supervisor or senior therapist level in a Spa or wellness environment.
* A recognised therapy qualification (CIDESCO, CIBTAC, ITEC or equivalent).
* Knowledge of marketing and merchandising techniques.
* Experience with rostering, budgets, forecasts and financial reports
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* A passion for wellness and delivering five-star guest experiences.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
