Working within the Public Relations team, alongside the PR Manager, you will be responsible for corporate campaigns and executing the proactive PR and Communications strategy to support Tesco Ireland's business and reputational objectives.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and measure strategic PR plans to enhance the business's commercial and reputational goals.
2. Manage the consumer PR agency, including briefings, response to briefs, planning, execution, and reporting, with close management of agency retainer fees.
3. Create engaging content that showcases products and brand values to generate talkability.
4. Build and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers to secure media coverage and endorsements.
5. Co-manage social media channels and website content, including planning, posting, community management, and analytics.
6. Manage the PR budget and related financial processes.
7. Support the leadership team by drafting key messages, Q&A documents, and materials for activities, speaking engagements, and presentations.
8. Monitor issues proactively that could impact Tesco Ireland's reputation.
Key Skills
1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in PR.
2. Strong knowledge of Ireland's media landscape, including digital and traditional channels.
3. Proven success in managing high-profile PR campaigns and securing media coverage.
