Role Description
We are currently seeking a
Site/Civil Engineer
with a minimum of
2 years' experience
to join our team and support ongoing projects in the
Galway area
. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer who is looking to gain further experience across a range of civil and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
* Prepare daily/weekly site reports, maintain accurate records, and assist with project documentation.
* Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth and efficient site progress.
* Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
* Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
* Setting out or Buildings and Services
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years' experience working on civil engineering or construction sites.
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, site management, and engineering principles.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD).
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* Full driving licence and flexibility to travel within the Galway region as required.
