Job Overview:
As a Stores Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing stock while ensuring the smooth handling of goods in and goods out. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in logistics and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management and organization of stock, including inventory control and accurate record-keeping
* Handle goods in and goods out processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and dispatches
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
* Support the team with general store duties and contribute to efficient operations
Requirements:
* A current Manual Handling certificate is advantageous but not essential (training will be provided to the successful candidate)
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A proactive approach and willingness to learn
