We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the healthcare wing at Isle of Man Prison. As part of this unique environment, you will play a pivotal role in shaping offender healthcare and providing expert nursing care to individuals with diverse physical and mental health needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work autonomously, expand your clinical skills, and contribute meaningfully to the rehabilitation and wellbeing of those in custody. You will be part of the Integrated Primary and Community Care Group, committed to delivering services equivalent to those available in the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-quality nursing care to offenders
* Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective care plans
* Developing and implementing individualized care programs
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
* Experience working in a similar role or setting (primary care, emergency care, or mental health backgrounds desirable)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Ability to develop and implement individualized care plans
