Salary: £25,614 - £31,325 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract Status: Fixed Term Until 31st March 2027
Location: Lurgan (requirement to travel in NIHE Southern Area
About the Service:
To intensively support females in the Southern area who are homeless/ at risk of homelessness who use substances and experience mental health difficulties.
Keyworkers in the Women’s Housing Support (NIHE Southern Area) project will use a trauma-informed approach to engage with seldom heard women. The successful candidate will develop partnerships with clients to promote access to housing and health supports with the aim of increasing stability, identifying coping mechanisms and reducing harm associated with hazardous substance use and co-occurring mental health symptoms.
Multi-agency networking and collaboration are a fundamental focus of this role.
The postholder will be expected to adhere to and demonstrate Extern’s values in all duties and interactions.
