Middle school students all study Latin; students begin their study of contemporary world languages (French, Chinese, or Spanish) in Class IX.

The ideal candidate would hold an advanced degree in Spanish Language & Literature, Spanish teaching, or a related field, would have 2 or more years of relevant teaching experience, and be able to develop a healthy rapport with Middle and Upper School students, and embrace Waterford School's mission, vision, and values in curriculum, teaching, and membership in the community.
A full-time course load entails full teaching responsibility for up to five courses.
