You will work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to both day-to-day commercial performance and forward-looking strategic initiatives.The RoleSitting within the commercial team, you will play a key role in analysing electricity market dynamics and supporting revenue optimisation across energy, capacity, and system services markets.The position offers hands-on exposure to market analysis, techno-economic modelling, and strategic projects, with direct involvement in how market changes and regulatory developments impact commercial performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse electricity market dynamics across energy, capacity, and ancillary services marketsSupport the development of techno-economic (Excel-based ) models to assess commercial opportunities and asset performanceConduct data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and revenue optimisation opportunitiesAssist in the production of commercial and market performance reportsSupport the evaluation of regulatory and market changes and their commercial impactContribute to strategic and investment-related projects, including new market initiativesAssist with tender processes and commercial assessments of contractsWork closely with internal stakeholders to support data-driven decision makingRequirements1–3 years of experience in the energy or utilities sectorPrior experience working in a commercial analyst, analytical or project management roleIntermediate Excel skills required- exposure to Python, SQL, or VBA is beneficialProject management experience is an advantageStrong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detailExperience working with data and building analytical modelsStrong communication skills and ability to present insights clearlyDegree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
