At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a BIM Technician to join our team in Little Island Cork.Reporting to the Business Unit Preconstruction Director, and working as a member of the wider BIM team, the BIM Technician & 3D Animation Specialist will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values, integrity, dependability, safety, pride, and qualityYour day to day will include:Developing a 3D Animation presentation capability in the companySupport and generate client presentations in projects.Develop, logistic models, 4D animations.Developing BIM scripts to improve efficiency on repetitive modelling and drawing development work.Leading Coordination, liaising, collaborating coordinating with 3rd Party Contractors and designer.Developing models and drawings through RevitManage Plant 3D content and modelsGeneration of Fabrication Packs, GA's, IsometricsProduce weekly Updates of Navisworks Model and issue Clash Detection ReportsWork with 3rd Party Contractors and designers to resolve clashesCo-ordinating with project teamAll other reasonable tasks assigned to you from time to time from your managerWhat we are looking for:Detailed knowledge of the BIM Technician & 3D Animation roleCommercial understandingHealth, Safety and Environmental systemsKnowledge of the team's strengths and weaknessesLI-KK1Why Dornan?Our commitment to our employees development - we offer career progression pathways, always seeking opportunities to promote and upskill our people.Health & Wellbeing - Fostering health and wellbeing is paramount to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
