Overview

Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is a four-star property set on 130 acres of parkland. The hotel is a historic estate dating back to 833 A.D. and forms the heart of the property. We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the team.


Responsibilities

* Prepare, bake, and decorate pastries, desserts, breads and other baked goods.
* Ensure consistency in taste, texture and presentation of all pastry products.
* Monitor ingredient stock levels, place orders and manage inventory efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.


Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie within a food service environment, ideally in hotels or restaurants.
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Have a passion and genuine interest in food.
* Be a team player and able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
* Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
* Flexibility in working hours (mornings/evenings, weekends, public holidays).
* Good command of the English language.
