Adrift featured in Ireland's top 101 restaurants 2025 & winner of Food & Wine Magazine's best Hotel restaurant.We focus on local produce for menus in Adrift, using our on-site coastal garden, while working with renowned West Cork suppliers.We are looking for a Sous Chef with fine dining experience to join our team.JOB DESCRIPTION-collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff in developing new menu items, contributing creative ideas in fine dining cuisine-maintain high standards of food quality and presentation of dishes-oversee the preparation of all dishes-assist in maintaining kitchen inventory and order supplies-work with the head chef to develop and maintain food cost and waste controls-ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are metQUALIFICATIONS-2+ years of experience in a sous chef or similar role in fine dining restaurants-experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment-ability to work well under pressure-excellent communication and problem-solving skills-knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations-creativity in food presentation and passion for creating delightful dishesREQUIREMENTS-PERMIT TO WORK IN IRELAND-GOOD LEVEL OF ENGLISH REQUIRED-FLEXIBILITY TO WORK IRREGULAR HOURS, INCLUDING EVENING, AND HOLIDAYSOn- site staff accommodation availableJob Type: Full-timePay: €30,000.00-€34,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionFood allowanceOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Dunmore, Cork, CO.
