Event Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to manage and coordinate various projects. The role requires a motivated and energetic candidate with creativity and the ability to get things done.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing exhibition spaces, trade shows, pop-ups, commercial fit-outs, and custom interiors.
* Account management of existing and new clients
* Liaise with design teams and issue quotations for drawings
* Manage exhibition control documents
* Set and communicate timelines and priorities
* Travel to onsite inspections
* Keep precise records of all communications
* Update company databases
* Coordinate services for clients
* Order logistics services required by clients
* Organize logistics and plant hire
* Control costs on individual jobs
* Liaise with Production Teams in finalizing construction/installation
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential exhibition/event clients
Requirements:
* 2-5 years' experience working in events
* Degree in Event Management or relevant qualification
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
* Ability to work to deadlines in a highly pressured environment
* Flexible attitude towards working hours
* Fluent in English and strong communication skills
* Full clean driver's licence
