Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Operations Specialist to join their team at their facility in Roscommon.

The Role
As a Facilities Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facility. Your duties will include monitoring and maintaining plant equipment, managing feedstock and material intake, supporting routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
The role involves shift work and an on-call rota, with both indoor and outdoor tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor plant machinery including engines, pumps, digesters, and feeding systems
* Carry out daily checks and identify operational issues
* Adjust plant controls to maintain stable and efficient processes
* Manage feedstock handling and processing in compliance with regulations
* Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs
* Operate site machinery and equipment (training provided)
* Maintain accurate operational records and support compliance reporting
* Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures to ensure a safe workplace
* Participate in a rota-based on-call system

Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with:
* Experience in an operational, industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance role
* Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge preferred
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Experience or interest in renewables or waste management is a plus
