Experienced Baker Full-Time | Oak Smoke Bakery The Oak Smoke Bakery is an artisan bakery with an ambitious goal to delivering baked goods to restaurants, delis cafes and other small retailers out there on the market, and were on the lookout for askilled, reliable, and experienced Baker to join our team. Core Responsibilities: Baking & Preparation Ingredient Preparation: Weighing and measuring ingredients accurately, mixing batters and doughs (by hand or machine) Shaping & Forming: Kneading, rolling, cutting, and shaping doughs and pastries Baking: Operating ovens, setting precise temperatures, and monitoring baking times Following Recipes: Adhering to house recipes and production schedules, and contributing to new product development Operational Duties Maintaining Equipment: Keeping all baking equipment clean, maintained, and in proper working order Inventory Management: Ordering ingredients, tracking stock, and ensuring sufficient supplies for production Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintaining a spotless, organised workstation in line with HACCP and food safety standards Production Planning: Creating and executing daily or weekly production plans to meet demand Record Keeping: Accurately logging production outputs, inventory usage, and sales data What Were Looking For: Minimum 2 years of professional baking experience in a commercial or artisan bakery Advanced level of English (spoken and understood) Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work independently and under pressure High standards for consistency, quality, cleanliness, and safety A proactive, flexible team player with full-time availability Willingness to work up to 40 hours per week, including early mornings and weekends A passion for baking, attention to detail, and a commitment to constant improvement What We Offer: Competitive salary, depending on experience and performance The chance to work in a new, purpose-built kitchen focused on craft and quality An open and supportive work culture where your skills and ideas are valued Opportunities to develop and grow as the business expands
