Product & Category Manager Bathrooms (KBB) What you need to know: We are seeking an experiencedProduct & Category Manager with a background in bathroom, kitchen (KBB), or building products to take ownership of a showering product portfolio. Your new role: This is a commercially focused role combining product management, category strategy, pricing, and market insight within a design-led, competitive market. You will play a key role in shaping product range, driving performance, and supporting new product development. Key Responsibilities Develop deep product expertise across the bathroom and showering category Analyse category performance (sales, margin, pricing) to drive commercial decisions Support new product introduction (NPI) from concept through to launch Lead tender and OEM projects, including bespoke product development Manage product portfolio, lifecycle planning, and range optimisation Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis Gather customer and market insights to inform product strategy Support pricing strategy through margin and breakeven analysis Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, estimating, and product teams Represent the business at trade events and customer meetings Requirements Experience in product or category management Background in bathrooms, KBB, building products, or consumer durables (essential) Strong commercial acumen with pricing and margin management experience Excellent analytical skills, particularly in Excel Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders Strong communication and presentation skills Desirable Experience in new product development and lifecycle management Knowledge of trade customers, installers, or merchant channels Experience with PIM systems By applying, you are giving consent for Matrix Recruitment to contact you about this job.
