Summary of Role
This role involves reviewing and auditing the IRC area and branch financial returns and assisting in phase two of the iPlicit system implementation for areas and branches. It will have line management responsibilities for one direct report.
Role Responsibilities
* Work with members to transition to the iPlicit system and provide training.
* Complete income and expenditure summaries.
* Perform bank reconciliations.
* Trace all transactions to the yearly bank statements.
* Review supporting documentation.
* Reconcile intercompany transactions.
* Investigate and respond to routine queries from branches and external auditors.
* Uphold the Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
* Undertake other reasonable work-related duties as assigned by the line manager, consistent with the job and level of responsibility.
Role Requirements
* Part-qualified accountant with 2-3 years of experience.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with various stakeholders.
* Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Effective organizational skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Knowledge of iPlicit or other financial reporting systems is a plus.
