The primary function of this role is to provide general maintenance and upkeep services across a number of properties. This includes ensuring that the buildings are safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times.
To accomplish this, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of planned and reactive building maintenance tasks. These tasks will include general maintenance, such as repairs and replacements, as well as preventative measures to ensure that the properties remain in good condition.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to undertake general facilities support tasks, including furniture assembly and removal, grounds clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy.
Effective communication with building occupiers will be essential to minimize disruption when planning and undertaking building maintenance work.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting and logging all completed repairs on a continuous basis, supplying this log daily to management.
Other duties may be assigned by the Services Manager, including undertaking tasks performed by lower grades.
This role will require the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to write clear reports, and have a willingness to travel as necessary.
